I know a lot of people mirror off their phones, I can't do that.
I'd like to do it from my PC. After discussing options here in other threads
with no joy other than buying a new computer with widi maybe working,
and then discussion also on ROKU fb page I have gotten as far as getting my ROKU
added to my PC Windows Devices. My Roku has screen mirroring checked on.
According to older instructions on the web discovered with google
once the ROKU was added to my PC the ROKU should do something.

How do you Mirror On Roku 3 and Streaming Stick? - The Streaming Advisor

I've noticed that all the websites with instructions on how to do this
talk about Windows 8.1. I of course am on Windows 10 (updated automatically, it
just happened).

Someone on fb just tried this and said it was working but he said he was using android.

Anyone know how to....get the screen mirroring to start? Or find out whether W10
isn't supported or doesn't do this?

You could keep this discussion in one thread. This now the 3rd one? Stop that.

Didn't someone already suggest this?

Probably find a 1st gen Chromecast on EBay dirt cheap. Don't need the latest. This setup will let you see anything in Chrome on your computer to be broadcast to your TV.

I see that Best Buy will have the latest Chromecast for sale on Black Friday, 11/24, for $25.
