Without giving you the name of one, think of this: daycare is more than 8 hours - usually 10 because the parents have commuting time from their jobs. So, 10 hours a day means 2 hours of OT per day. Assuming a $10/hour wage, that's $80 plus $30 for the 2 hours OT = $110. Now, if you also have an early childhood education teacher salary in there, I think $120 per day is more than reasonable.

$600 per child per week in the NYC area is not outrageous. My friend paid that with no discount for a 2nd child. AND, that is weekly and sick days are paid as well.

That still doesn't answer my question....I only wanted a name of ONE daycare in CT that charges $120 per day....sorry, I don't care what you think is reasonable...I just want to know one where this is the daily amount charged....why is it that no one can tell me the name of one daycare that charges this amount?
