I am stuck in Atlanta-- Got stuck in transit after flying in from Bradley and my segment to New Orleans was cancelled. Been here since Sunday evening. I am now schedule to return to Bradley tomorrow evening landing about midnight?

Do you weather gurus think I have a shot at making it in?

Another one? Ough!

These are the times I wish Global Warming to be true and really kick in. I like Connecticut, but maybe I need to move somewhere warm.

Again??! Lucky Im back in Toronto!

I have been making an elementary error by thinking snowstorms = blizzards until Connecticut helped me learn the real definition of blizzard.

As long as your plane made it to Atlanta you will probably be fine, assuming Atlanta is back up and running smoothly again. BDL rarely closes, they are really good about keeping runways clear and being that they don't have many flights in and out they have time to stay on top of the snow. The storm is supposed to wind down in the afternoon so you have a shot of flying in.

After two days marooned at an airport hotel in Atlanta, I'm ready to watch the snow come down from my comfortable living room in Vernon.

If I can't get home, I'm headed the other way and I'll watch the storm from my parents comfortable lanai in Delray Beach.

Good luck to everyone.

Blizzard? Really?

How about a simple snow storm with the potential to bring 10+ inches of snow. I guess that's not dramatic enough.

I have not seen any forcast for high winds (Over 50mph), and that would not make it a blizzard.

Don't be a grump, JViello!

Some of us LOVE the drama! I still listen to the school cancellations to see if I would have been cancelled if I was still in school
