I'm currently working at Pfizer as a contractor. I'm also an Artist as well. Is there a great place near Groton or in the surrounding area to purchase art supplies?

I don't know about anything close to Groton, but up in Willimantic you can find The Lilypad--http://www.lilypadart.com/ They have everything most artists need, and give a discount to pros and students.

Here is a link to a list of possibilities in New London:

In Providence, RI are both a Utrecht store and a Jerry's Artarama--you can Google both for directions--or order online.

Good luck!

Default The Artware Store in downtown Mystic

The Artware Store in downtown Mystic used to be in Groton but now is part of the Finer Line Gallery/Framers of the Lost
Art in Mystic. It's 3 doors down from Mystic Pizza and across the street from the Bookstore.
