Skydels in Bridgeport. I don't remember much about it, except that my mother brought me there every year to buy me new shoes for school when I was in early elementary school.

I remember Skydels on East Main Street. There was also Nydens on Madison Avenue. Great small department stores. It’s a shame they no longer are around.
