Yesterday I was over at Greenwich and on Putnam Ave, right next to the Ferrari and Maserati dealership, there's a sign stating that they're building a McClaren dealership there.

It got me wondering, how many McClaren dealerships are there in the area? I don't remember seeing one anywhere in Fairfield County or even across the border in Westchester.

Anyways, this is pretty cool.

Can't wait to see the beauties once they arrive.

On another note, the collection of exotic car dealerships lined up on Putnam Ave must make this one of the flashiest avenues (as far as cars are concerned) in the nation. You name it, from Bentley, Porsche and Aston Martin all the way to the more 'normal' Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW. And now, McClaren!

Building? Or renovating a current space? I can't imagine them building an entire dealership for a manufacturer that's come out with 1 car in the last 15 years.

Looks like renovating. And the next closest would be Philly.

I will have to check again to see whether they are building or renovating, but it seem as if they were building from scratch. I might take a photo to post here.

Anyways, McLaren did started to develop its international dealership network in 2010, as per this article: List of city locations for Mclaren dealers : Luxury Auto Direct Magazine

I drive a Toyota.

It's almost a stereotyped joke. Indians drive little toyotas LMAO

Several times I'd tell others, that's not my car. And then I'd get into it

Yeah, and it'll have 150k miles and be beat on by a term I cannot mention because it might be misconstrued as racist.

How many moms do you think saw the thread title and thought it was Maclaren, only to be deeply disappointed?

Appears they don't sell new ones anymore.

If I'm getting a new car, it may have to be something like a Nissan Leaf.

And to quote Mark Wahlberg from the other guys, that would be like "driving in a vagina"
