Hi all,
My family and I are considering a move to the Great Pond area of South Glastonbury. It's a beautiful neighborhood and looks near perfect, but my daughter was at a soccer game at Nayaug Elementary and the mosquitoes there at dusk this fall were unbearable. Since Great Pond is even closer to the river than the school, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with or knowledge about this?
Thanks for your time!

Anywhere near a river will have more mosquitos. I too have noticed more down in the South Glastonbury area. I am not sure how different it is over in Great Pond since where most of the homes are is not a wooded area. Also I would not change my decision to buy a home there though just for this reason. Jay
