Unless you get a full-ride (which is why I came to CT) I wouldn't come here for school.

That being said, I know nothing about CCSU but I did eat lunch in New Britain yesterday and it was a fairly depressing community.

I don't even feel like employers choose me over someone else with a bachelor's degree, for hiring decisions (I could be wrong though). Luckily, I recently paid off all of my student loans and basically feel like I burned $19,000 for no reason. It's sad and it really sucks, especially because I don't love my profession. I hope things improve, however.
6 years? Consider yourself blessed. It takes some people decades.

It's obvious you have zero experience as a hiring manager. Experience trumps education every time.
I never said only IVY league grads land upper management jobs. I said you have a better chance with an IVY league school on your resume. Off course other things can matter as well.

But, what if the candidates are simply in experience and talent? Your school can give you the final edge in the hiring decision.

What's next, your gpa doesn't matter anymore either? LOL
Why do you think they ask for a GPA on your job application?

You obviously know little about New Britain. There are many beautiful areas and it has some wonderful parks. CCSU is very attractive and located in a nice part of New Britain. Jay

Hello people!
I'm going to study in CCSU in the fall 2013. I'm an international student. I will live in the CCSU campus. I have some questions:
1. How is the campus live there? are there many international student or the most part of the student are americans.
2. How is the relations with international people? is the most part of the people friendly?
3. There are fun activities to do in New Britain or i need to move to the nearest towns?
4. There are bars for the student to dance?

With fun activities i mean, Cinema, Shopping mall, bowling ...

Thanks!
