Very scattered again, same town might of had 1/2" in south end and 1" in north end.

I reccommend everyone to get one of these. Walmart sells them for couple bucks. Fun to see and keep track.

Left on just goes right into the ground in open area. Right one you screw onto the deck in open area.

Both are calibrated to measure rain accurately. Left one gets the sideways rain a little better and snow. After the rainstorm just lift and empty the container and return to position.

? Why? That is partially what's the worst about our summer months here. Humidity is awful and makes it unbearable inside and out.

I guess it depends on the individual. Humidity doesn't bother me if the temp is 80ish or lower. It almost feels tropical.

It's bad here, but I guess you've never been to Florida in the summer.....

That's what I love about it! I don't mind sweating - I just make sure I wear light clothing and have plenty of water. I also make sure to hose down my dog often in the heat.

There's nothing better than an 80 degree day with humidity.

While blasting my A/C in the car this morning I was thinking about the transition of seasons. It's so nice to have different seasons in this state. So what we deal with 3-4 months of cold, snow and ice. I think the season changing makes up for all that.

11:30am temps. Warm 70s throughout except immediate coastline. Light south Winds. Blue skies with Wispy cirrus clouds. Veggies are loving it! Next weekend they go in the ground.
