near UConn Med Ctr. What's this area like? family-oriented? good area? not so good?

That area of Farmington is nice. It borders with New Britain...where there are a bunch of condos being built. Closer to the Med Ctr is an active adult community with another one planned on the corner of Munson Rd I believe. The area is right along I84 where the business parks are, but as with anything in Farmington, everything is well planned.

I would call it somewhat family oriented. Garden Gate for example is a newer development that is family friendly. It's right by rte 4 as well which takes you into WH Center which is convenient...and also South Rd is in the area which takes you to Westfarms Mall.

thank you--we are looking at 2 houses in that area--and with not knowing the area it's nice to get perspective from someone who knows!
