I am looking for a nice 1BR apartment for May 1st. For 2 grad students that will be working at Children's Hospital in Downtown. Looking for suggestions. Needs to be safe. I will take other town suggestions.
Thanks in advance. Public transportation would be a plus.

Connecticut Children's Hospital is not really in downtown Hartford. You might look to the south in Wethersfield or Newington for a place. You should check the routes that serve the hospital directly to avoid having to change buses. I am pretty sure that the route from these towns go past the hospital. Go to CT Transit's website for this. But check the times of bus service to be sure it works with your schedule. Good luck, Jay

jay, Thanks for the info on the bus routes. I don't know much about traffic in Hartford. Is driving/parking an issue near the hospital? Thanks again.

The hospital is located away from the highways but the streets nearby are not that congested. There is a large parking garage there (maybe a couple) but I am not sure how they handle staff parking. You should ask them about it. Jay

Thanks for the info. We are not focused on Wethersfield, Newington and Glastonbury. Seems like best public transportation.
