lol.

You have 4 weeks.

March snowstorms are more of a tease than T-2" snows all winter.
March snowtorms are as pointless as January rains with bare frozen grounds.

We'll be mowing lawns in March/April. Things melt too quick in March. Pointless to me. A winter is about snowpack and cold.

I been waving the flag since Mid December... so far I'm glad I did.

lol

Its got happen in February. I don't even care much for snow in March I agree 100 percent. I think February will be twice normal on the coast and inland. Does somebody have readily available the average snow for Hartford, Danbury and Bridgeport in month of Feb?

Check out the wind directions. Over the Atlantic its South. Over land its North. Cool!

here it comes. Storm developing in the south, 50s up to Kentucky & West Virginia right now! Say goodbye to the cold for at least a day or so. Max temps should be after sunset for today.

One monster storm is cheating. Lol I won't be just looking at "numbers" when all said and done, its more about the pattern and how many times.

Like average number of days with accumulating snows at BDL is 24 per year. They only have 7 so far.

And we'll need a couple of monsters to be at or above normal for season. Unless we start getting at least minor events more often.

Definetly a different tone with me this year. Its all because I really burnt myself out in 2007-08 and again in 2011-12 when I kept waiting, hoping and getting excited and it never happened.

I got the phone alert too and was surprised! The advisory actually goes all the way down to NYC and "splits the boros" (i.e. advisory in Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx but not Queens or Brooklyn). For northern Fairfield and adjacent parts of NY state (i.e. northern Westchester, Putnam counties) the alert is to 11am.
