Water temps still in the 40s. very cold for this time of year but even if it was above normal for this time of year every Spring it's the same thing, sea breezes keep southern CT cooler. Bridgeport especially which is right on the water.

In fact, did you guys know that the average max temp is cooler in southern CT than it is for Northern for 5 months a year? By September Hartford Max Average catches up and eventually gets cooler than Bridgeport. Avg Max temp in BDL is 71.2° for May, BDR is 67.6°.

1 month a year the monthly mean is cooler.

Bridgeport avg minimums are always warmer though..

Right now its 74 at BDL and 64 at BDR. 10 difference. Love/Hate the coast. lol. Fun to see the differences in the Spring time.

In fact southern side BDR has the lowest max for CT and northern side BDL has the highest. lol

Rain?

Looks like best chance is Tuesday. Less than an inch. 6 days from now. After that we would have to wait till around the 21st?

Good. Drier ground = less humidity but easier for temps to spike hotter. Take a pick

My low precip pick for the month is gonna be a winner. I'm afraid we will be talking about drought as early as July.

Your prediction looks good so far but you know it takes 2 good downpours to easily get 2" and we're right back.

I'm in the sun right now and it feels like July so for me, looking at snow is getting me through this "torch"ure.

What California was getting all winter we are now with the ridge and dryness.

Once again today temps easily spiking hot. Keep appreciating these low dewpoints folks. A taste of SW dry heat...kind of.

Yea ironically its will be cooler in parts of the southwest this weekend than we will be. And you are right one stationary t storm over Bridgeport and there goes the low prediction.
