I was going to put it down the other day but looking at this coming weeks weather makes me think I should wait. It looks like it may dip to the 30s at night.

I have Scotts Halts and the directions only say early spring before weather is consistently in the 80's. That seems like another month away at least and I really don't want to wait too long.

What do you all do that has proven to work?

Also, is it okay to spread fertilizer at the same time?

we have a lawn service and they just put down crabgrass preventer this past week.

Back when I used to do it myself, the basic requirement was three-four days in a row of 50+ daytime highs. I guess it's changed.
