No I won't besides, that's pretty much my "beauty budget, as I'm not so much into make up. Plus I live in a house full of men/boys - they use the all-in-one supermarket brand. The good stuff is just for me...

My wife buys all the shampoos and groceries for our household and when I go take a shower I just want a simple bottle of shampoo. However what I get is all these exotic scented shampoos, conditioners, body washes, I mean good lord ladies, it took me 5 minutes to find a bottle of shampoo the other night, I almost put body wash in my hair, I thought it was shampoo.
Fortunately my wife is like yours. And she will only buy what is on sale. Me too actually. I will never buy shampoo in a salon. Too expensive and not worth it. Jay

Fortunately my husband is just like you. He would NEVER buy his hair product at the beauty salon either

I only fell for that once, when the "metrosexual" thing was really in vogue.

LOL! I'm my own barber once per week. Number 2 trimmer (1/4") comb all around and every other week clean and trim the lower back using a double edged razor same time holding a hand held mirror in the bathroom.

Shampoo: never at a salon but online as I use a less than $10.00 shipped 32oz., Tee Tree Shampoo.

Wait a second, maybe the OP could use this advise of the past few posts to help his friend save monies.

I still maintain that his wife has planned getting pregnant for the Child Support payments as well and the upcoming (though not announced yet) divorce. Sometimes things don't look what it seems and again hope that I'm proven VERY MISTAKEN in my assessment of this scenario.

My wife loves my curly hair but personally I liked my hair style back during my military days. Just buzz it off, no fuss easy maintenance, heck in the Army you didn't even really need shampoo, had no hair to wash, it was great.

This thread has more to do with giving a friend advice than it does with the state of Connecticut. Why it's still in this forum, after 67 posts discussing personal finance and relationship issues, is beyond me.

But carry on.
