The CT legal market can be a bit parochial. If you're not from the area originally or didn't go to school here, people will want to know why you want to work in CT. Not every firm will be like that, but don't surprised if you experience it.

The predicament we are in is that we do not have tons of money. We have enough to keep us going for a few months and do not want to leapfrog from one place to the other if it does not work out. We want to make a direct move and try and make it there. If we do move to CT my husband can concentrate on that bar and start studying while I find work. Washington is not for us and looking for advice about moving to the East coast. I also need to get my children back in school. It does not have to be CT and the only reason I was looking at CT is because some American friends advised us to look there. If anybody else has some advise I will appreciate it.
