What a load of crap!!

Why doesn't "Doug" start a "dialogue" on all of the drugs being sold in Hartford and the crime's being committed by his fellow "diverse" inhabitants??

If they didn't slum up the city then there would be no need for so many police.

A municipal infraction (local ordinance) is much different than a violation of state statute. The new law prevents an officer from seeking an individual in Hartford who committed, say, a noise violation by city ordinance in West Hartdord. In the case of "Doug", this new bill wouldn't have prevented what happened simply because the WH officer was investigating the report of harassment, which is a misdemeanor and not an ordinance violation. He still would have been well within his rights to pursue an individual in Hartford.

Doug was simply making this a race issue when the only issue here was a borderline rude police officer - and that's assuming he's telling the truth. There are two sides to every story, and I have a sneaking suspicion he wasn't as friendly with the officer as he claims to have been.
