Working in New Canaan this afternoon I was making a turn here and came across some good photo opps. Just had my phone camera with me.

Part of the Silvermine River

Can't tell in the pics but everything was wet and air was humid. Quiet area with crickets and birds and the occasional vehicle

Lets hope they don't tear this abandoned home down and put up condo complex or a building.

Must be vacant for couple years for the weeds to overtake the property like this. That's an island there which I assume used to be grass only with a couple shrubs.

Facing Westport from Norwalk on Westport Avenue this Beautiful June Saturday afternoon.. Dry, Sunny, and in the 70s.

Lets hope wires everywhere will go underground soon and we stop building tall structures so we can keep the natural looking beauty of the state.

Taken this morning from Norwalk. Current afternoon temp is 76°F. Not many flock to the beach yet. lol Low Tide.

Just realized they replaced the pier which was destroyed with Sandy. The pillars had remained in tact but the walkway didn't.

I believe the land in the distance is Rowayton/Darien, CT which sticks out more into the Long Island Sound than Norwalk does.

Nice spot. Notice it was taken over winter. .. or early Spring? No snowcover wondering what year now.
