The flakes are out.

This isn't the best looking storm and the track doesn't favor an all snow event. That said... A Potpourri event = wet snow that doesn't stick to roads. We'll see how long it snows for. Might be 1 hour might be 6 Friday evening

Nov 13, 2018. 0.64" since midnight and still raining.

2.92" for the month.

Every single month this year has had over 3 inches of liquid!
(Wonder if that Low Solar Output is helping the cause. Or just the way the pattern goes sometimes. Other areas have been very dry.)

Is this supposed to happen on Thursday evening or Friday evening? And how much accumulation for Danbury area-north? The local stations aren’t saying much, at least I haven’t heard much other than wintry mix but no mention about accumulation. Thanks

Right now i will say yes. I will say 1-3" snow between 5-10pm then change to sleet and rain after that. I do not expect roads to be an issue at all.

Tomorrow (or later) I may have a different opinion. Lol

Forecasters are taking it day by day... waiting to see more continuity with the models.

This wont be a big snowstorm guys.

I wanted to ask the same thing. I thought it was moving in after rush hour Thursday ("around 7"), but now I don't remember where I saw that. I remembered thinking I'd be done with my client and back home by then, and Friday I am local.

Looks like it might be slightly faster now. I wonder if the High Pressure overhead creates virga (precip not reaching ground at first). That would prolong the onset of it. Details details.

You'll be fine! Not a blizzard
