Shouldn't be hard to plot the coordinates into GoogleMaps maybe? Let me see if I can do something. I was looking at the estimate times they have listed, North Salem at 4:41pm. I took this picture facing towards there at 4:48pm so it was just after or during. It was wicked dark towards there..

This was at 4:55pm facing towards them.

Here you go...

I used all the coordinates for locations from the survey report. https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pi...-NOUS41-PNSOKX. Only one that didn't have coordinates was the macroburst in Kent, NY so I just added Terry Hill Road area in Kent for that one.

*sigh* this is going to be another one of those summers, isn't it? Gardens aren't getting enough warm sunshine to really produce.

Hmm, I wonder if there were any reports from there? I think they only survey where the reports came from otherwise imagine just driving around every area looking for damage.

Goes to remind us that more population leads to more known extremes.

I dont understand why drones arent used now to survey areas. Maybe they did? But if we do start using them in the future, get ready to see more areas with these events.

I believe it was no longer techincally a tornado after Hamden. They look for wind damage in different directions. The damage in North Haven/Wallingford was most likely just straight line winds. This drone video shows it pretty well. All the trees fell in the same direction.

Someone pointed out that Tornadoes don't follow roads. LMAO

So lets do this again...

I used all the coordinates for locations from the survey report. https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pi...-NOUS41-PNSOKX.

Tornadoes in Red.
Bursts in Yellow.

Only one that didn't have coordinates was the Macroburst in Kent, NY but said it was 4 miles long so I just clicked a 4 mile path starting in the Terryhill area.

The Macroburst in New Fairfield and Brookfield was the longest at 9 miles.
