The Weather Channel's map had a flurry falling as close as Greenwich/Port Chester, NY...IF it was reaching the ground.

The 3 airports and Central Park are reporting steady light snow but not BDR and Islip. I looked at the NWS site radar (can't seem to copy and paste it here) and it literally looks like the snow stops at the Bronx-Westchester line.....nothing falling out my window in southern Westchester now though my weather channel app claims there will be a half hour of flurries and very light snow starting at 8am.

Having a problem uploading a GIF so a still image will have to do.

7:40am map. Light snow/Flurries reached NYC.

I'm seeing 3-5" across Northern Virginia, Maryland. Temps in the 20s

The good news is, because we didn't get snowflakes here, we will end up with 5+ days of no precip now!! NYC broke the stretch.

See, there's hope for snows in CT yet!

Wanna buy this snow? lol!

Pics taken about 5 minutes ago here in SWNJ.

I'd say without going out yet it's approx., 1 - 1.5 inches.

I know this is Boston-heavy, but really applies to the whole region:

Nice! I miss the workout and the landscape! My garden soil is cracking too so I need a snowpack!

Had a problem earlier uploading GIFs.

Here is the 6-10am loop. 4-6" in Northern VA and Maryland. NYC and Western Long Island got the northern edge of the snow. Sun is out here now.

Serious question: what's the appeal of snow?

Do folks here have a snow plowing side job?
