Optimum sounds great.....but it's not available where I live and I don't think it's in many towns.
Optimum is only in southwest CT near the coast

Optimum is inland too. They serve a few towns in the Waterbury area.

I constantly have live radar refreshes open with a software. Weather maps, Multitasking, video recording, pictures, uploading, posting, large files, downloading pdfs, ect; I don't have any issues with Optimum 100 plan. I don't do gaming so can't comment on that aspect of it

So I call Frontier, ask them about their internet speed (they offer 45 mbps upload, 6 download). I gasp, say that's really slow. The rep says it's perfectly fast, that I'd have a dedicated line blah blah.

I asked them to email me with their package options including the features that each plan offers. They said they do not do email. I asked how I would be able to view everything on paper before deciding (their website offers only vague info). They said they do not show the terms & conditions until after I have already committed.

WTF!

I hung up on them. Now browsing options on the Xfinity site. I hate Comcast, but anything has got to be better than the customer service I just had with Frontier. Great balls of fire.
