7:10-11:10am Loop. Look closely..

Moisture starting to rotate in as opposed to straight from the south. So things going as planned so far. All that energy west of us is merging into it.

Storm pressure down to 997mb. Seeing 4-6" reports around Philly. 2-4" in northern NJ

Grrrr. Another school day lost for nothing. When superintendent called it at 5 AM, was already looking as if they could have done early dismissal. And now they're gonna at best have late opening tomorrow, at worst have to cancel tomorrow, too.

Looks like this storm will start up around 2p. Went out for a run flurries changed to showers and now snowing. Still some bare spots on the lawn and grass. Nothing sticking to the roads yet. Looks like it'll be bad from 6p to maybe midnight.

How do you post pictures here? I just saw an update on FB that NWS just upped the totals? Now almost all of the state is in the 12-18” range, with pockets on the very western edge(my town included) now 18-24”?? I thought the forecasted accumulations were trending downward today? Damn that Jim Cantore... I knew when he showed up in the Danbury area this morning it meant bad news ..

Farmington valley here. Maybe half an inch of snow is all we have, and nothing is sticking to the roads! Schools definitely should have stayed open today.

Caught a glimpse of the" live on the scene" in Vernon.
Not even snow on the ground, let alone the roads. Telling us to stay off the roads.
Sorry this is just drama. Use your heads, people. I'm on the coast. Dealing with employee's afraid to work the morning shift, whose afraid because of the talking heads. Ugh!
Last Friday how much snow did we get? This just gets old.

Hi Guys,

Just a heads up.....I'm in Central New Jersey. Was raining up to 1/2 hour ago here. Then it changed over to all snow. I just came in from bringing in my trash can that was covered over with 1/2 inch of show. The heaviest, thickest snow that I have ever encountered in my entire life! (please don't ask me how old I am). So anyone going out in this stuff beware. Especially if you are planning on manually shoveling the snow.
