I’d be shocked if Harp cracked down on crime. She is about as clueless as they get.

It’s not a dig at you - most people don’t realize how policing works, and how incredibly political it actually is. Local and state politicians dictate to both law enforcement agencies and the courts how they want things done. This is why you see states like TX to be a bit barbaric but states like CT and NY to be “hands off” when it comes to enforcing crime.

When crime happens, people blame lack of police presence. They don’t put pressure on their beloved politicians, which is actually where the blame should go.

Oh, I was not in any way blaming it on the police themselves.

I am not crazy about the Harp administration at all lately

Some of the victims were on their second or third overdose during a 24 hour period. They OD, get patched up and go back for more.
