More on Hurricane Lee from NWS BOX:

https://forecast.weather.gov/product...&highlight=off

The most significant weather during this period remains Hurricane
Lee. There is a growing consensus for a track east of southern New
England into the Canadian Maritimes. Despite this consensus however,
it remains too soon to close the book on Lee across southern New
England. The 5-year average track forecast error is still about 150
nautical miles either side of the official forecast. Thus, there
remains a possiblity for a closer pass by Lee, which would lead to
more significant impacts for portions of southern New England. We
expect more clarity on the track of Lee over the coming days, and
hence the expected wind and rainfall impacts.

Thanks for posting. Mostly for Rhode Island and eastern MA. Big maybe for Eastern CT but nothing but a breeze and rain if it does shift. Nothing burger

Euro00z gets closer again. Still NOT GONNA BE BIG FOR CT. It will feel like a NorEaster though with strong Northeast wind gusts. Eastern CT might be getting lashed with some bands of rain too

Euro00z shows the Surface Wind gusts on Saturday

30-40mph wind gusts across CT

45-55mph across Rhode Island, Eastern MA, coastal Maine

65-80mph across the capes

I just received the mobile screeching beep alert for flash flood warning in Hartford County. It is absolutely pouring out here.

I got it too but it was only thundering lightly here and then I was able to take the dog for a walk down along the Farmington River. River is absolutely raging! Lots of soil erosion too. Saw a bench that had such erosion around it that the concrete platform underneath it was almost completely exposed. Soil was all washed away.

Here's the loop past 4hrs. Yup, lots of flooding reports. All those icons = flooding. Those red colors means torrential downpours

Look at some of these flooding reports

Got an Eversource text alert re: Hurricane Lee. Any new concerns showing up, e.g. shift westward in track?

NO. Not even rain. Enjoy the breeze and maybe the outer edge clouds
