We seem to have a fair number of warnings...LOL.

Still, not much from the remains of the tropical storm:

Temp OBS this month from Danbury, CT.

Like a light switch we went from a Mid Summer Heat Wave to October-November like weather.

Well above to Well Below.

Welcome to Southern New England Weather

Red bars = Actual High
Blue Bars = Actual Low

The dots represent the normal Max/Min temp for that day

I didn't check Central Park...but what is interesting is that September 2023 is still running WELL above normal at NWS Bradley and Bridgeport. Bridgeport is running 1.8 F above normal, and NWS Bradley is running 3. 4 F above normal. Bradley has been the most amazing, the normal monthly Sept high is 75.3 F....Bradley has hit 76 F or higher 14 times this month - and 10 times temps hit between 80 and 95 F:

It will be interesting to see how the month ends at area stations....but at least at Bradley, September 2023 looks to end above normal. Nothing wrong with that I guess.

Don't know if it will verify, but next Monday might feel more like June than October if the models are right:

A little Indian Summer might be cool

I have over 19 inches of rain since June 1st! Moss is an issue

Rainfall totals past 96hrs.

Some areas with over 4 inches of rain. Many areas with 2-4"

Ophelia became an occluded low south and southeast of the area.

The region continues to be locked in on an ENE flow regime with high pressure north of the area attempting to build.

That map is pretty accurate. I checked my rain gauge this morning and had just over four inches!
