Thunder front rapidly intensifying. Starting to see a lot more strikes on the Lightning Map. Bad for us, when they intensify over us we tend to get hit the hardest (at least that's my anectodal experience)

NWS says 60 mph gusts. Those always tend to be overblown but there is always a rare occasion where it happens. Stay safe

Rain just started in Fairfield from the main line of storms. How do we not have a severe t storm warning??

And, at 3:24, the NWS finally got the memo

Severe thunderstorm warning for those further east. No wind here either. Kinda shocked!

Yup, zero-to-negligible wind down here. I think it was windier before the storms came through. Decent bit of lightning but most scraped to the south, didn't get any hail here.

5-10 degree drop with these storms. It's in the 40s at 3:30pm now. Normal is near 60. LOL

The line is hitting Milford and New Haven right now. Meriden and Hartford on top edge of it. Not as severe

3:45pm Map. Milford got some pink, probably small hail happening there too right now. 45°F in Danbury. Brrrrr
