The coldest temperature ever on Earth (-128 F) was recorded there, I believe in 1983.

With yesterdays record 94° at BDR it bumped up the Max temp avg to 9th warmest for the summer so far.

Here's a look at the Max - Min and Avg temps since 1994 for June 1-July 26 period.

The lows and the Average temp this year is the warmest since 2013 and 3rd warmest on record.

Today will make 11 days in a row with 70+ dews at BDR.

Longest streak for July since 2013.

Ironically having the warmest summer since 2013

that was the year we had an insane 31 days in a row with 70+ dews

Current Heat index. Brutal out there with sun. Dew in upper 60s with temps in upper 80s at lunchtime. :-(

yes, that 133° in Morristown, NJ is a bad data return currently. Dewpoint reading 90F. lol. https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=40.809527&lon=-74.419918#.Xx7_fJ5KhPY

Feels like 94° at BDL. 92° at BDR

Canadian model is horrible for long range but I am rooting for it! Hurricane far enough off the coast to not be direct impact for us but close enough for some rain and a nice strong breeze. Oh Canada.

When I was in Elementary and Middle School in CT we didn't have AC in those schools. It was brutal in the warmer months. There was AC in my High School though. They have since added AC to the Middle School I used to go to and the Elementary School I used to go to no longer exists.
