And it’s not even on their main page - you have to dig for it. When loading their webpage just now, the top story is “Why Trump shouldn’t get credit for (finally) realizing Coronavirus is deadly serious”.

For real? Is this a tabloid? We’re in a pandemic, here, and the media is too busy pushing their narrative. Horrible.

Ordered some, but even the cheapest price is gouging big time.
Also ordered UV C lamp for disinfecting small objects

CNN is gross. The other day they had the featured story about people's fear of dying alone and a stock image from a coffin dealer. They have no shame.

Savage.

I will say our local paper here has suspended restrictions and is allowing unlimited access to all, regardless of membership. That’s the kind of stuff the media should be doing.

Mayor De'Blasio is getting roasted by CNN for not responding sooner.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/01/polit...nse/index.html

Quote:
"I am not ready today at this hour to say, let's have a city with no bars, no restaurants, no rec centers, no libraries," he said on March 14. "I'm not there."

Many New Yorkers agreed with him. On that mild Saturday night, they flocked to crowded bars and restaurants.

[...]

De Blasio, who had been critical of the White House's response, demurred when asked if he should face the same scrutiny.

"We should not be focusing, in my view, on anything looking back on any level of government right now. This is just about how we save lives going forward," the mayor said. "We all were working, everybody was working with the information we had, and trying, of course, to avoid panic, and at that point, for all of us, trying to keep -- not only protect lives, but keep the economy and the livelihoods together, keep ensuring that people had money to pay for food and medicine. I mean, this was a very different world just a short time ago."

Meanwhile, in China:

TIME has spoken with many sickened Wuhan residents and relatives of presumed COVID-19 victims who were never included on official tallies during the outbreak’s peak. There are also countless reports of people collapsing in the street and bodies laid out outside apartment buildings. But only those who died after first being diagnosed with COVID-19 are included in official statistics.

[...]

According to analysis by Radio Free Asia, the official death toll in Wuhan of 2,535 may have been underreported by almost a factor of 20. The news organization cites reports that seven funeral homes in the city were each handing out 500 funeral urns with the remains of suspected COVID-19 patients daily for 12 days from March 23 to the traditional tomb-sweeping festival of April 5, which would indicate up to 42,000 urns in total. Other estimates based on the capacity of funeral home furnaces puts the figure at 46,800. None of the funeral homes in Wuhan contacted by TIME were prepared to comment.

China has concealed the extent of the coronavirus outbreak in its country, under-reporting both total cases and deaths it’s suffered from the disease, the U.S. intelligence community concluded in a classified report to the White House, according to three U.S. officials.

The officials asked not to be identified because the report is secret, and they declined to detail its contents. But the thrust, they said, is that China’s public reporting on cases and deaths is intentionally incomplete. Two of the officials said the report concludes that China’s numbers are fake.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut Children's Medical Center furloughed 400 workers because of the coronavirus outbreak, which has caused elective and other surgeries to be delayed and the number of patients to decline, according to officials with the Hartford-based medical system.

The furloughs are for 60 days and affect about 14% of the system's workforce of 2,800, The Hartford Courant reported. Medical center officials expect all the furloughed employees to return to their jobs, maybe by early June.
