Hospitals aside, the list of notables is undeniable.
I just learned the great Vincent Price went to Yale. His starring roles in Edgar Allen Poe movies, the cameo performance in the Brady Bunch Hawaii two part episode and of course his rap outro to Micheal Jackson's thriller are legendary.

I’m sure there are tons of grads from tons of places, and maybe a Yale club that meets once a month for a dinner party somewhere but that doesn’t mean there’s this prevalent Yale culture theme everywhere. Literally no one talks about it except maybe once in a while some Hoka mom bragging about their “gifted” kindergartner going to Yale someday.
Right - and that's exactly how Yale wants it to be honest. I was mainly referring to the question about presence when many Yale alums live quiet lives in FFC and elsewhere (Yale indirectly trains you to be discreet about it anyway) and brag more about what they're doing for the world than attending Yale itself. Although - I do appreciate the March Madness first round win against Auburn because it made Yale relatable and accessible for a moment to everyday folks, and ironically an underdog.

The Yale Club exactly was to show the "quiet power" of the university so to speak having a "fort" in Manhattan (the largest university club in the City), which is not common at all. It's not in everyday conversation but definitely present for those in the know (the place can get busy at times), just like again how the university would want it to be. Even DeSantis had a low-key fundraiser there despite complaining about the university.

This aligns with general CT culture about quiet competence and quality, which can be snobby but nevertheless not as flashy as our neighbors.

There’s that and there’s also the fact that CT residents make up a very small percentage of students there. To most it’s iirrelevant, they don’t care

If you want to talk about Yale influence in FFC, did anyone else see the "Remember to wear sunscreen! - Yale New Haven Health" banner from the plane yesterday?
