Not "really" a "City" though. Where's the skyscrapers and tall building clusters? (rhetorical)
Anyone can identify as "City" if they want though

CT will classify any government with a mayor etc as a city. Derby is a “city” with 12k residents.

All these towns are dense suburbs.

Exactly. The pop density is greater than Fairfield and all of these people are telling me it’s less congested

They are about equal but 95/15 are worse in Fairfield and downtown gets more traffic. Milford downtown is pretty quiet. As I’ve said it’s good and bad. We have only had a few new interesting restaurants open while Fairfield has had many.

Fairfield is a fantastically well rounded town. I think its past success was why it didn’t make it this time.

Yes, they're all dense all across the board from Greenwich to NH along Rt1 and 95.
a 200-300 person/mile difference isn't really visible to the human eye. It's a little more than a rounding error.

Winners Bracket:

Stonington vs Milford. I'm going with the likely surprise here and Stonington. I know technically the seaport & the aquarium are in 2 different towns (ones in Groton the other in Stonington I forgot which is where), but the town as a whole itself is beautiful. I said at the beginning of this that Stonington was my dark horse favorite; Didn't think it would make it this far, but now that it has, I have to vote for it.

Guilford vs New Haven. This is a really tough one. New Haven just has a lot to ask, and I don't think it's ever advanced to the finals much less won, so I will take the Elm City here.

Losers Bracket:

Woodbridge vs Groton

Greenwich vs Portland

Farmington vs East Haddam

Middletown vs Cheshire

Southbury vs Southington

Newtown vs Wethersfield

Avon vs New Milford

Weston vs New London

Chester vs Bethel

Norwalk
vs Waterford

Trumbull vs Clinton. Both places have a mall, but that's about where the simularities end. Trumbull has the movie theater as well, but Clinton has the SLE station, and probably more a "walkable" downtown area than Trumbull which doesn't really have any "downtown" per say.

Simsbury vs Salisbury

Kent vs Deep River

Stamford vs Hartford

Wallingford vs Woodstock

Wilton vs New Canaan

Kent vs Deep River I would go for Kent against many towns, but I like Deep River a lot

Stamford vs Hartford

Wallingford vs Woodstock

Wilton vs New Canaan yech on both - let me know if there's a tie

So there we have it!!! The Loser's Bracket is starting to get tougher now, so make sure you're actually thinking through before you vote in the Loser's Bracket! Who's Ready for Round 7!!!
