Hi,

My landlord is citing rising property taxes as the reason for a rent increase.

Have property taxes risen this year in Fairfield? If so by what %.

Thanks

Sylko

New mill rates don't go in to effect in Connecticut until August 1 of each tax year. So technically speaking, no, the property tax has not risen this year.

Not in Ridgefield. Perhaps there are others, but that municipality immediately came to mind. Quarterly payments.
