I was wondering if there was some kind of technology that made possible reading, taking notes possible when you don't have the book in front of you. I noticed that Kindle has the read-out-loud technology. But if somebody could invent the voice control function on the Kindle, you could say 'go back 20seconds' or something like that to rewind what you just heard and you could say 'insert note' and say things, which would record your voice and as light mp3 file so that you could go back and make a question or comment on the things you read. And if you run across a word you don't know, you could say 'define "blah"' and it will define for you and then resume the readings.
And then if you get tired of listening to a you could say 'book ----' and it changes books to whatever title you specify.
This way, you could be productive even while walking or driving.
