Hi everyone. In all of my research into the Cookeville area I have neglected to find out about care for my pets once we're there. Is there a good selection of vets in the area? Also, for those times when we go out of town, are there any reputable kennels nearby?

I have also tried to find out about the cost to register and get tags for my dogs. Could someone point me in the right direction please

I really appreciate any and all help. I am so excited about moving that I can hardly stand it! My kids just roll their eyes whenever I mention Tennessee. Thanks again for being so nice...

Yes,there are several vets in the Cookeville area. One that I can recommend is Ragland & Riley. It's on hwy.111, actually in Overton County but only 8-10 mins from Cookeville. They have 3-4 vets on staff & they are all very knowledgeable & caring.Same seems to go for the whole staff...
As far as kennels, there's a decent selection of them also.
My parents go out of state quite often & when they can't take their yorkie they leave him at a place called Critter Sitters, which is in the Double Springs area between Cookeville & Baxter. They'll come to your house & pick 'em up & then bring 'em back to you when you get home.
Hope this helps some...
