Does anyone know this area, and is it a good or bad area for kids?
What is the area like, stores and restaurants? High or low crime, drug use? Is it a low income or average income area?
291 S. Carrizo St. Corpus Christi, TX

It's near Blucher Park and South Bluff Park.

Thats near the downtown area of Corpus, in an older section/neighborhood. I am not sure of exact statistics, but I could imagine the crime rate is somewhat higher there than in many other areas, and you aren't too far from where the main transient section of town is (east Leopard St). Not sure if you are looking to buy or rent there, but I would most likely look elsewhere.

Is there a particular reason you are looking in this neighborhood? Are you looking to find a place close to work? Be more specific on your needs, and I am sure you will get alot of responses on decent places to live.

No is not a good area, take a look at that address in this crime map. https://www.crimereports.com/ Lots of registered sex offenders in that part of town.

Low income, high crime, lots of homeless people and drug use.

I'm not looking for myself, I know someone who moved there with kids and I was trying to see what kind of area it is. It sounds exactly what I thought, I pulled an image from google satellite and looks like it might not be a good area.

Yeah, not really a great place for kids. The upside is, they will be in walking distance to a lot of conveniences.
