Reports are coming in about a shooting this afternoon in Dublin, Virginia. Details are sketchy, but it seems that the shooting happened at a mall that houses a community college. It isn't clear if the shooting is necessarily related to the school.
I was going to stay that it was interesting timing, but it isn't. Yes, Glee did a school-shooting episode last night (I haven't seen it yet), and the 6th anniversary of the VA Tech shooting is on Tuesday, but I think whenever there is a shooting now it will be a few days one way or another from the anniversary of some other notorious shooting, there have been so many.
