Interesting, the issue here is what a money maker those pagents are for businesses. I don't see them being able to close it down. After all, Honey Boo Boo is an industry all by herself.

I don't see many kids wanting to do this on their own, without a lot of at least initial coaxing by the parents.
Later in life I can hear a manipulative parent bringing up how much they sacrificed for that child. I can see siblings being jealous.
Children don't have as strong a sense of self. I wonder how being on stage and hearing the applause from others twists their little egos - and how they think they must do this to get mummy to like me?

This is to discourage the teaching of young girls that their main value in life is in their beauty.
Considering the ongoing genocide/replacement of the French People, I can't see how this could make any difference, one way or another.
If, however, there were an actual future for the French, then banning something so tacky and reminiscent of AMERICAN WHITE TRASH, would be a wonderful thing.
