Looking at how many Europeans would be hard pressed to locate North Dakota on a map, I'd say that's not a specific US phenomenon. But if you're going to speak at length on North Dakota's economy, you'd damn well better do your homework.

Yes, even being insistent in suggesting his version of the 'truth' to the Irish guy. That's obtuse (I'm not convinced his was an attempt at dry humor. If so it was so 'dry', it failed).
