A northwest Indiana man was mauled to death by one of his pet pit bulls on Christmas Day, police said.
Authorities were called to a home in the 5500 block of Tulip Avenue about 8:14 p.m. after 40-year-old Edward L. Cahill was found on his living room floor by his girlfriend, according to a Portage police report. She had returned from visiting relatives for the holiday when she found him unresponsive
You blame the dog. ..without knowing the owner? That seems unfair and presumptuous. Trash is attracted to those dogs sadly and they are responsible for training this aggression into them, more so than other breeds. When is the last time you passed a drug house with a Lab or golden retriever out front?

Why is hard to grasp for pit bull apologists. I would not take in a baby wolf, a bear cub, a lion kitten etc and expect it to be nice and civil down the road. I don’t expect the same out of any pit bull or related mixes. The delusional keep telling themselves pit bulls are as gentle and friendly as a King Charles Cavalier.

The pit apologists always want to shift the blame to the owner, even when the victim was a fellow pit apologist who lovingly raised them from puppies.
At least it happened to the owner of one of the dog and not an innocent child, bystander or a neighbor's pet. I can't say I feel bad for the guy that owned the dog.
