A little more investigation and it appears that this John Allman may have Paranoid Schizophrenia. He says he is campaigning against human rights abuse from some unnamed agency persecuting him with 'thought control', harassing him with 'directed energy weapons' and causing him to hear voices.
Well that may be... Its called ELECTRONIC HARRASSMENT!! (It can be quite scary)

Do you have the divorce decree in your hands with the specific orders deemed appropriate by a Judge in this case?
Did you live with this family so you know all the exact details of their home life, the environment, the reason they got divorced, the reason the Mother requested limited contact with the child?
If not then you are basing your judgement on a video posted to youtube purely for attention and to gain sympathy (which has been accomplished with you).
Until you know all of the exact details there is nothing wrong with the actions of the school administration.

I'm a divorced father that went through a nasty custody battle so I know how the system can be stacked against the father if you're not careful. But that doesn't mean this dude is in the right ... especially when there's a court decree severely restricting him from access to his son.
When the female police officer was reading from the court order, she said the father was allowed 'indirect' contact by providing letters/photos 3 times a year, and the mother was directed to allow the child to see them.
With ONLY 'indirect' contact in place in the Court Orders, that means NO direct contact with the child, including turning up at the school when the child is there. Not even supervised contact. That's only put in place when there is evidence that the parent is a risk to the child eg mental health issues, abuse, sexual abuse or grooming etc. The letters/photos would normally need to be vetted first by a 3rd party eg independent children's lawyer (ICL), psychologist or social worker before the child sees them.
The orders would not have been put in place just from unsubstantiated allegations by the other parent. Contrary to what some men's groups will tell you, the Family Courts in Britain also take 'parental alienation' into account, where one parent tries to turn the child against the other parent or withholds contact. The courts have no desire to stop children having a meaningful relationship with both their parents unless there is a significant risk of harm to the child.
The father lied about there being no court order, asked the female police officer not to read out a paragraph (something he didn't want recorded on his video?), there was a pause in the recording where we missed something else being said, then he rushed the guy wearing the yellow jacket trying to get into the school hall and claimed that the guy had attacked him. As the male police officer tried to point out, the father had no regard at all for the impact on his son or the other children if he had barged into the hall and a caused a scene.
The school and the police officers were doing the right thing by asking him to leave. I thought they handled the situation quite well.
The 61 year old guy (with a 4 year old son?) also sounds rather 'disturbed' on his blog.

It's not restricting him from staring at his kid in the grocery store via binoculars either but I think most would agree it's not in the kids best interest.
It might be a public school but it's still private property.
(Sorry, I don't think the OP is comprehending the totality of the situation and is working off paranoid assumptions.)
If the court order stipulates no direct contact, that's what it means. Apparently, he gets photos three times a year and that's that.
An acquaintance was briefly married to a a man with significant mental health problems. As he drifted off into paranoid and psychotic states, he was totally unable to parent but only concerned about his "rights." Finally, a judge said enough and restricted his contact.
Had this father been allowed to attend the school play, he would have undoubtedly disrupted it.
The school and police were correct to remove him. He was there illegally.

Do you honestly think this guy would go to the school, watch the play and leave without trying to have direct contact with this child?
If you believe that you are the only one who is confused about his intent when going to the school.
Why are you fighting so hard to defend this man's actions? Are you him? Is this your child and your situation?
