At least this ^^^ is an honest response. No fat jokes, no put downs about his appearance. Either you agree or you don't. Period.

Not because of that, but because of your Michael Moore worship and insults directed towards those who don't.

Where did I say that you have to agree with MM? Worship---uh no. My original response to this thread had to do with the people here who've felt compelled to make comments about his size. Not only is it irrelevent to this topic, but extremely immature. But who knows? Maybe this thread is being occupied by 13-years old boys. Could be, I guess!

Lol that won't happen. He'll stick to close-to-senile old men like he did when he confronted Charlton Heston simply to embarrass him on camera.

He's disgusting.

Then why did you respond to this topic? I mean, you clicked on the thread, read the story, read the responses, typed up your message and posted it to the topic being discussed at hand.....all just to tell everyone else that you supposedly don't care? Just think about that for a minute.

You are the only one here insulting the other forumers. That is generally a trait of a 13 year old boy.

No matter.

Moore has now released a weasel worded backtrack saying that he didn't really mean it. In fact he is praising marksmen now, even calling them brave neighbors. Do you still hold him in the same regard?

As much as I tried, I couldn't resist responding to the unmentionable people who spoke of military snipers and those in a video game in the same topic. You people are useless trolls. To whine about a camper in a video game when participating in a conversation about people who endure the harshest of condititions is reprehensible. You clowns should be ashamed of yourselves.

Get a clue before you post here, ok?
You must be new here. Btw, I agree with you.

Just because someone agrees with a person, they are worshiping them?

But I'm not.

The posts were not intended to be taken literally. Rather they were satirical in nature. I was pointing out the absurdity of MM discussing this and condemning snipers. There are real people who do endure a lot. MM has about as much call to comment on them, having seen this film (and had an uncle), as I do, having played a videogame -- that is, not much.

It doesn't hold a candle to Viet Nam or Korea. Viet Nam resulted in 55,000 American deaths, Iraq I think about 6,000. Tragic all but when you are talking about proportionality it's not even close.

The foolhardy part was not invading in the first place to depose Hussein but to believe a muslim country was capable of something resembling a western democracy.
