Beloved grandparents VANISH after going to meet mystery Craigslist poster who was selling the 'dream, vintage' car they wanted since they were first married

Police in Georgia are searching for a retired couple who disappeared after going to purchase a car from a seller they contacted online.

Vietnam War vet Elrey 'Bud' Runion, 69, and his 66-year-old wife, June Runion, drove from Marietta to McRae on Thursday to meet someone who had responded to a Craigslist ad placed by Bud seeking a 1966 Mustang.

Always, always, always meet in public places... Preferably police station parking lots... When doing this type of thing.

I saw their fb page that their family made . Im thinking they might have stopped along the roadside maybe to help someone and they met robbed them and might have done them harm so sad . Yes you should never meet anyone off of craigslist unless you meet in a public place and yes a police station parking lot is a good idea . I have been praying for them and their family . I hope their family gets good news about them . I do believe the FBI is involved now . God bless them and I know their family must be going crazy worrying about them .

The guy who was selling the non-existent mustang has turned himself in. Gotta be careful buying stuff off craigslist.

Congratulations to all the law officers who moved quickly on this case. I hop the Runions are found alive and in good shape.
