Absolutely. It's the corporate culture of the "customer is always right". While customer service is important it shouldn't includ putting up with abuse from an a-hole. The peasants have to put up with being disrespected so the higher ups/owners can make more money. No way in hell the owners allow people to talk to them like that. If you tried that crap with the owner, you'd be out on your ass! People abuse customer service employees all then time because they can get away with it. It's disgusting.

If you park in a tow away zone, that's on you.
Most enforcement towing is not from tow away zones. Those people generally just get a parking ticket. Most towing is from private lots with often confusing or non-existant signs, and often the towing is illegal. Often the towing company is not licensed, or they tow a legally parked car.

These type of towing companies are scum. It is a form of legal car theft, and people like this woman get a little upset when their car is stolen by a tow truck driver.

Thats said, the woman is scum, the towing company employees are scum. They deserve each other.

Yea I remember cussing out a driver in Chicago and nobody even batting an eye. People actually took my side because they were towing people for something they shouldn't be towing people for.

Why was the other side of the conversation edited out? For we know, the tow truck employee was even nastier.

Actually, she is quite fortunate the tow truck employee was very reserved. I know of some places like that where somebody would have come out and thrown her butt out of the office when they heard her trash talk. Yeah, you certainly want to take care of customers but you don't have to put up with crap like that!

Yes, some towing companies are crooks. But this employee was not a tow truck driver. Also the problem was her using her employment position as a threat of lawsuit and for further insulting the employee. People mouth off all the time. The employee even pointed out to her she was being recorded and she still continued her behavior. You got a problem with the tow you contact the manager and or local authorities. You don't berate a low level employee.
