I'm guessing the end result of this breaking story will be a hit and run, leaving the scene (in order to avoid further charges like DUI).
Aaron Hernandez can easily say he wasn't there (for once!).....
The Patriots released linebacker Brandon Spikes Monday morning, a day after his car was found abandoned on a highway near Gillette Stadium.
Massachusetts police
said they found a 2011 Mercedes registered to Spikes abandoned and with front-end damage on I-495 in Foxborough at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
A representative of the OnStar navigation system told police the driver of the Mercedes reported hitting a deer around that time, but police found no deer. Police are also investigating a hit-and-run that sent three people to the hospital in the same area around the same time, but have not directly linked the two. Police said that vehicle, a 2009 Nissan Murano, was rear-ended.
