I don't hope for it mind you but the strength of the recent past has lent to significant catistrophies.getting more severe.
I have mliar bags and oxygen obzorbers with 100 lbs rice.beans.and other dry goods.as wells canned goods.and lots of water.
It does pay to prepare.

Or until all your preps get burned by a wildfire, when there is no civilized fire control to stop it.
