What really annoys me, is the ED Commercials they now have on TV during the day and on prime stations....I mean seriously? With kids watching TV at those times?
What's your take?
Well it isn't like they're putting it on the Disney Channel, are they? Probably on during the soaps or Fox News, how many kids want to sit and watch the same show as G'pa? Besides, I think most kids that get it are probably grossed out at the thought of their grandparents having sex, let alone that gramps can't get it up and granny's getting frustrated. Don't worry about it, the kids are probably a lot less aware of that commercial than you are.
Kids grow up to be adults. In fact, that's pretty much their job as kids, is to become adults. You raise adults, you don't raise kids.
I barely know what you're talking about, though. We do DVR a few shows that air on commercial television, but FIOS has the "skip" button (that we're both skilled at using) so we never watch commercials.
I don't know what the gripe is? They have all kinds of ads for women's stuff all the time, bras, stuff for dry or smelly vaginas. Medicines are just a product. They have as much right to advertise as anyone else.

That reminds me! I hate that bikini area shaving commercial they have out now where the women are standing in front of tiny little bushes. It was very awkward to watch it with a 14 year old boy in the room!
Kids have no idea what the commercial is talking about. It's not like they say outright, your penis gets hard for 4 hours so you can bang your wife for days. They just show the couple sitting in separate bathtubs lol.
No different then all of the other drug commercials out there. I believe they all should be banned.

Interesting little tidbit, the USA and New Zealand are the only countries that run these direct-to-consumer adverts.
