In the past couple of weeks, Donald Trump has dramatically increased his visibility in his bid to become the Republican Nominee in the 2106 presidential election. This rapid turn of events, can be directly linked to Trump's assertions that Mexican's are to blame for a cornucopia of maladies ranging from voting rapist, to "tremendous infectious diseases," brought in by Mexicans. Additionally, Trump cites a case where a woman from San Francisco was stabbed numerous times by a Mexican that had been previously deported several times before. He further states that this is representative of "thousands of similar cases," here in the US. Lastly, Trump claims that the Mexican Government is purposely sending its worst people to the US, thereby using the US as a "dumping ground" and that "Mexico is killing the US on trade." Mexican drug lords, with the knowledge of US customers are flooding the US with heroin and other drugs.

Sound familiar? It should. All of the Trump assertions are to establish a scape goat. Hitler chose the Jews. Trump has chosen the Mexicans. All negative, ever present, growing unchecked menace; Trump is taking his campaign, straight out of the Adolf Hitler playbook. A minority that looks different than white America or Black America. Mexicans speak another language. All just like the Jews did. Divide and conquer. Is this really what you want?

Trump is playing to a Nationalist voter. A voter that is possibly less educated, and definitely a voter that is looking for easy answers to complex questions. It is an easy concept to sell. To the angry voter, this ideology portrays the hard working American as being the victim of the cunning Mexican Government and those evil Mexicans that cross into this country, illegally. It is easy to work a crowd up into a fever pitch with rhetoric that galvanizes their solidarity against a perceived common foe. If you watch an old speech of Hitler and contrast it with a Trump speech, you may notice several similarities. No accident. It is the same do-do, getting close to a century old.

If you are tired of the same ole poop, I mean, this is really old, hate filled poop, ditch Trump.

So even if what he says is true for the most part, it makes him Hitler. Yep, seen this one plenty of times. Don't like what someone says and cant refute them, compare them to Hitler and the Nazis.

Donald Trump is nothing like Adolf Hitler, let us not get irrational. He comes off as the type of person who says what he feels and thinks, but he not a dangerous person.

I'm tired of the same old politics with the same career politicians. Something needs to change and trump is an upgrade than what we have now floating around IMO. He's got my vote family and friends. I'm a proud American Mexican immigranted here legally too. Sure he shoots from the hip but what he says resonates a lot truth.

The woman in San Francisco was shot to death, not stabbed.

No. And there's a nugget of truth in what he says. Infectious diseases are much higher in immigrant groups and we don't have a functional immigration or border policy. One doesn't need to be an isolationist, which I am not, to admit that these are just facts.

Hitler? No, that is just silly.
Frothy politician pandering to his base? Yes, just like everyone else before him and everyone to follow. Mexicans are to Trump as Bankers are to Sanders. It gets their crowd worked up.

Thank you for catching that. I do hate misrepresenting the cause of death. But what you cannot deny that Trump said that the was representative of thousands of cases like it in the US committed by illegals from Mexico?

Comparing Trump to Hitler isn't even rational. Seek professional help.
Everything Trump has said thus far is correct.
