LOL, There's a reason Rolling Stone gives out the rag for free, they had to retract more articles then any other magazine known to history of man, our President didn't show his hands with the Packies and gave the green light for the OBL take down, and for that I will always be grateful, but the true story is our President was even the best Leadership in our own time, let alone all time, lol..

Wrong

First of all, despite the communist/socialist loving liberals, who in their right mind thinks the Castro's are anything but brutal dictators who have committed murder and torture for political reasons. They overthrew the country and have ruled with an iron fist for 50+ years now. Just because the liberal press has not demonized them like it has with Sadam, Assad, Kaddafi, Pot, Stalin, etc. does not make the Castro's any less evil.

More importantly, Obama has once again done something he has no business doing. To reestablish relations with Cuba, he must be convinced the leadership was democratically elected, which obviously it is not.
It is spelled out in the Helms-Burton Act, formally termed the "Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity Act", yet Obama once again decides which laws he chooses to enforce, and which ones he will exploit or flat out ignore.

Frankly it has gotten to a point where the citizens of our country, cannot believe anything anymore, because even if something is passed by Congress and signed by a former president, those intentions can be flouted by a new president that does not respect the law. There is a long list of things Obama has done in this regard from ignoring laws regarding pornography, drugs, deportation, traditional marriage, sanctuary cities, prison sentences, illegal aliens and the list goes on & on.

Sure if the Congress or someone with standing decided to take Obama & Co. to court over this, he would lose, because it is spelled out in black & white. Only a fellow communist could say the Castro's were democratically elected with a straight face. Yet for Obama to have done what he did, that was one of several criteria's he would have to believe.

There's still a chance that the Iraq democracy experiment will succeed. 20 years from now, Bush may be viewed as doing the right thing.

Certainly Obama's abandonment of Iraq in 2010 won't help. We should have kept a powerful force there for 5 more years, and could have easily prevented ISIS taking over a third of the country.
I don't really care about Bush's intentions (although I suspect they were far less noble than you think). He was not the President of Iraq, his duty was to protect the best interests of this country, not Iraq.

That war was unneeded, what's even more infuriating is that his administration completely f-ked up the country after the war. They had a concrete plan on how to quickly transition Iraq to new regime with least disruptions (keep the bulk of the regular Iraqi army to maintain order, make sure the ibasic nfrastructure,is functioning, etc ). Just as the war was over the Dick & Bush team fired the architect of this plan, sent hundreds of thousands of Iraqi soldiers home with nothing for them to do there, and sat on their dumb asses watcing the country slide into the chaos of lawlessness and strife with no electricity and no running water. Iraq was no Yemen, they had many secular educated people who'd support the more democratic regime had their lives not been destroyed by the total nightmare that the mismanagement of American occupation brought them. They had a pretty good chance and they blew it due to their sheer arrogance and incompetence.

Then you had Dubya's crown achievement, the Great Mortgage Securities Fraud. It started, peaked, and blew up all under his watch (his supporters' lame attempts to blame some obscure law from Clinton era which was laughed at by the banks even under Clinton only make me even more mad). There's no way he wasn't complicit in it.

Just these two events were incredibly costly, especially for the average Joe the taxpayer.

And then you have Katrina (a total glaring lack of leadership all the way up to the dummy in the Oval Office), the unpatriotic Patriot Act, the Free Speech zones, completely screwed up relations with the rest of the world, everything this guy did turned to sh1t. But he did know how to vacation.

So compared to him, Obama is less of a killer clown, yes.

Rolling Stone magazine isn't given away for free, although they share some online content at no charge.

Ron Jeremy isn't dead.

All presidents did some things that were great and failed in other ways, but that shouldn't even be an issue. The issue is we end up with a lousy pool to choose from because a) campaigning requires a lot of money and leads to professional politicians who are in bed with corporations, etc. and b) WE have lowered the bar because we remain foolishly loyal to a specific candidate / political party.

We all need to start demanding better people instead of defending the dolts who are currently in office. As long as we defend mediocre, we're never going to get better than mediocre.

Sorry, but a punk studying to be a thug wasn't necessarily an "innocent young man" just because he was black. BTW, the jury found he wasn't murdered.

I still believe Obama deserves about four more Nobel Prizes and a Academy Award; after all, he is black.

Lightbulb Rolling Stone Magazine names Obama the most Sucessful President in American History

That's an obvious exaggeration. But he has done a good job. The country today is in much better shape than it was 7 years ago.

But, as expected, this article has gotten the hard right Obamaphobes up and barking.

The lunatic fringe is VERY amusing.

If you have Communistic, Socialistic, Islamic beliefs or Hate White people then Obama is your Man. I think it is ironic that in a Country with many Black Men who have had great success the one elected as POTUS is such a lousy President.

The Big Question is: Who is going to pay for all of the Socialistic ideas that Obama has? When he "redistributes" MOST of the wealth in the United States we will ALL be EQUAL, except for his cronies who helped him in his schemes.

Mine started rising after BO "did" something.

I seem to recall Republicans being locked out, along with Nancy Pelosi saying we'd get to see the legislation after it was passed (totally by Democrats.)

I was better off when Republicans did nothing.

Of course Rolling Stone and the good lib media never mentioned that....

If they won't stick to music, stop reading their rag.
