Oh hey everyone just so you know we shouldn't be upset with this guy because there are starving people elsewhere in the world and someone just killed someone somewhere else in the world and there are too many homeless in San Francisco and eating dogs is still legal in China and Kanye West is still making music. So until we can address these issues we shouldn't be allowed to be upset with poor Dr. Palmer. /sarcasm

The claim that these hunts contribute greatly to the wildlife's benefits is just a red herring. If these hunters truly had a desire to contribute to wildlife protection and preservation, they would donate the thousands of dollars to reputable agencies. If they wanted the chance to see these creatures alive and in their natural habitat, how about going on a kill-less safari and taking some incredible pictures for the money they paid? But no......they have to kill the animal and then claim they are performing a valuable service for wildlife. I call b.s.
Can't rep you again, but agree with every word!!

Didn't he have a history of hunting violations? I thought I heard this reported but I could be wrong.

Bet his patients are leaving in droves.

Lots of people have a history of hunting violations. Fishing violations. We don't convict people based on their past violations.

Does Zimbabwe have a history of allowing people to hunt lions? Does it have a history of not doing much of anything about poaching because of the money people pay to hunt there?

The answer would be yes.

So no one is responsible for, let's just say, speeding.

It ain't their fault, you must blame the state that gave them a license to drive.

Yes, he was convicted of a felony in Wisconsin several years ago due to poaching and also had sexual harassment charges filed against him which he settled out of court.

Right, because going after Palmer is a such a feel good thing to do that really accomplished nothing but what the heck, it feels good doesn't it?

Yeah, I showed the world, I chewed on Palmer.

No, I didn't send a letter to anyone in Zimbabwe asking them to stop accepting requests to hunt lions, nah, that would be too much effort. I'd have to find the email address, write and email and then click send.

Easier to sit on CD and bash Palmer.

Yes, along with an undesirable habit of commenting upon the anatomy of female employees.

Would you put any blame the state if they gave him a license to speed?
