Bland said the autopsy indicated that the first shot went into Hammond’s left rear shoulder, throwing him forward in the car, and the second one went at a downward angle into his side from the rear, through his heart and lungs and leaving out his lower right side.

The entry wounds were five inches apart, he said.

Hate to say it but Zachary would still be here if he wasn't breaking the law with having marijuana.

Another autopsy was performed Aug. 4 at Greenville Memorial Hospital by Dr. James Fulcher under the supervision of Chief Medical Examiner Michael Ward.

Ward confirmed that Hammond was shot through the open driver’s-side window from the side. He found the gunshot wounds caused injuries from left to right and back to front. He said the shots could not have been fired from in front of or behind the vehicle.

Totally inconsistent that he was shot from either the front or the back. He was shot from the side.. As one shot appears basically straight and the other is angling from the back.. That would be consistent that he was in a car that was in motion. Which partially backs up the assertion of the officer that he was 'trying to run him over'

Always a possibility that the cop still overreacted on it.. But so far.. The officers story has more facts than that of the family's attorney.

Seems odd that there was no dash cam footage of this. Guess because it was an undercover operation..

If this crap keeps up I am going to rig a claymore mine to the roof of my car to eliminate any threat from the sides.
